Marfa, the name itself evokes intrigue, mystery, misconception, and debate. Regardless of what you’ve read or heard about this tiny Far West Texas town of less than 2,000 citizens, there remains a special, often indefinable quality that inspires, expands and explores creativity. Learn more about what Marfa has to offer!
They are just a few of the staples available at Marfa restaurants, anomalous bastions of delicious and diverse food in the farthest reaches of rural Texas. And while the enchiladas here are definitely great, Mexican food isn’t the whole enchilada. Come dine with us in Marfa!
Kruger Galleries Chicago and Marfa are rooted in an avant-garde idéal that art can be an agent for political and social change. While Kruger Gallery Chicago operates under a conventional commercial gallery model representing mostly emerging artists working in a variety of media and design, Kruger Gallery Marfa focuses on the more non-commercial practices of art including performance, video, sound and installation.
This home is absolutely beautiful and historic! It has so much offer and has A LOT of bedrooms! I had my dream backyard wedding here and it was nothing but a perfect place to hold a gorgeous ceremony and reception. Thank you Krugers for allowing us to become man and wife at your home. Much love, the Escajeda's.
Our group of six fell in love with the Boarding House as soon as we set foot on the front porch. Every detail of the house is geared toward comfort and conversation. Bedding, bath, accessories, kitchen and everything in it, were super cool and fun to use. The location of the house is on the outskirts of town, so you have views of horses in a field, cactus and scores of bunnies. We spent half of our time sitting outside under the trees enjoying the mountain air. This is the place to stay in Marfa!
This was our second stay at the Casita. As before it was clean, comfortable, charming. The owner is very easy to deal with. We love the property and location. We take our bikes and everything, including Chinati, is a 5-7 minute bike ride away. It is well appointed with everything you need but nothing more. The bathroom is large, with plenty of soft, luxe towels. We would definitely stay here again.
Perfectly comfortable casita with everything you need for an extended weekend getaway. Bed is comfortable, linens are great quality. The location is a short drive, or a bike ride to the center of Marfa. Quiet and relaxing.
We just spent a week here. My family lives in Marfa but we needed more space. The pictures do show the inside well. There was plenty of room for three of us and it could of handles 2 more. All appliances are new and in great working order. High end cooking pans and cutlery with plenty of clean towels. The washer and dryer in in outside closet make for convenience of washing your clothes. The back area is amazing it is huge and has a fire pit and a grilling/ fireplace as well. Strung lights make for a great ambiance. We had the entire family over and it was great. The owners might want to get some outside furniture i.e. chairs and a picnic table as their were none. This place is top notch, I have a rather picky partner and he was quite impressed. Thank you for the lovely stay. See you next year
